Earlier this month, Guadua Bamboo SAS experienced a historic moment after being awarded second place in the Excellence Award organized by Banco Caja Social in Bogotá. It was an incredible honor, but from the very first moment we knew this achievement did not belong only to us as founders, but to every single person who works day after day within our company.

Because nothing great is achieved alone, we decided to take a moment to celebrate and fulfill a promise: to share half of the prize money with all of our collaborators. The other half will be fully reinvested into our company’s infrastructure, ensuring we continue to have the best tools to innovate and grow with quality.
As a symbol of gratitude and tangible recognition for their effort, every team member received a bonus of $500,000 COP. In a region like Valle del Cauca, where rural work is demanding, we want to set a different standard: we are not just a bamboo company, we are a community that grows together.
