Did you know we operate the only commercial nursery in Colombia specialized in tropical bamboo? Tucked away in the hills of Bajo Sabaletas, Valle del Cauca, our nursery is home to over 60 distinct species of bamboo. This living collection includes everything from compact ornamental varieties to towering species used in ecological restoration and sustainable construction.
What makes this even more remarkable is how rare exotic bamboo species are in Colombia. Strict import regulations and limited exchange opportunities make it extremely difficult to access or introduce new species. That’s why each plant in our nursery represents years of effort, careful cultivation, and conservation.
